Welcome!

My photo
The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Job 33:4 Thank you, Lord, for creating us with individual purposes to bring glory to you! I am so grateful and humbled by the opportunity to be a wife, mother, and home schooling family. My hope through this blog is that we would all be encouraged to be a life giving wife, mother, daughter, and/or friend with each breath of life we exhale.

Time to Recharge Our Battery

It's the end of the year and the holidays are upon us. For some, we are feeling the burden or pressures of being a mom. Can we get it all done? Has this year gone the way we hoped or planned? Are you feeling overwhelmed by outside pressures or failures? Wouldn't it be nice to have someone speak truth and love back into your life? Well, I have good news!

Mom Heart Conferences are coming soon! And TOMORROW is the last day to get the early bird discount. Please don't miss out! You and your family will truly be blessed by Sally Clarkson. What a joy to have a weekend with girlfriends or time alone to be refreshed by hearing Sally and her family speak about life's challenges and joys of motherhood.

Sally and Whole Heart Ministry has made an incredible impact over the years. On a personal note, from the very beginning of our home school journey 11 years ago until now, Sally's words of wisdom have inspired me to be the best mom I can be to my children. A dear friend introduced me to Sally's book Season's of a Mother's Heart. She suggested it for our woman's bible study that summer. I still remember how many of us were new mothers and most had just heard of home education. We went through each chapter with tears of joy and sadness as we embraced motherhood with new meaning.

That same year I attended a Whole Hearted Mom Conference in Dallas, TX, and was awakened to the meaning of family as Sally, Clay and Sarah Clarkson shared from their hearts. Season's of a Mother's Heart was the first book I ever read of Sally's. It challenged me to begin on a unfamiliar journey to home educate. A decade later when she released a reprint of the book I had the privilege of being invited to attend one of Sally's home meetings since we had recently moved to the same town. I had no idea! Sally is as real in her books as she is in person. Within this life changing decade of being a home school mom, I've often turned to Sally's books for renewed vision and hope.

The Mom Heart Conferences will do the same. Plus, Sally always has chocolate! Invite a few friends to split a hotel room and enjoy a weekend with Sally. The tickets make great Christmas gifts! The holidays can sometimes be a time where we as moms desperatley desire a time to rest and have quiet time to refocus. It is a blessing to give and serve all year. However, come January, I am looking forward to a weekend of recharging my battery and I hope to see you there too!
